The Course aims to help subject and pastoral leaders and senior managers deal more effectively with underperforming and difficult staff. It covers working with staff members who are experiencing difficulties in the classroom or whose behaviour may be unproductive, unco-operative or just downright difficult. Usually there is a combination of factors.

The purpose of the day is to identify and analyse problems and then provide strategies to help middle and senior leaders deal effectively with such staff and situations in a constructive and non-threatening manner. A case study approach will enable delegates to focus on real problems.
